Applebee’s Crispy Orange Chicken Bowl Recipes
Applebee is one of the most traditional to eat over the weekend. We spent the years of the Applebee in my area, but I still love to eat it occasionally. Ingredients:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 TSP pepper
- 1/2 cup more 1 tbsp corn starch

Orange glaze:
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 grated orange zest 1/2 tsp
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Cut the chicken into 2-inch pieces and place in a large bowl. Stir in the eggs, oil, salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Mix cornstarch and corn flour in a bowl and mix well. Add the mixture of chicken in flour mixture, stirring to cover each piece well.
- Pour enough oil to be at least 1/2 inch deep in a wok or heavy and a series on high heat. When they reach 375 degrees F (hot!), or until golden and crisp to add pieces carefully in small batches of chicken and FRY for 3 to 4 minutes. Not to bake or chicken will be difficult. Remove the chicken in oil with a spoon and drain on absorbent paper. Continue frying chicken in small batches until all the beautiful Brown and crisp. Set aside while you make the icing:

- Add the other ingredients of enamel and bring to a boil. Simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce thickens at your convenience, stirring often. Pour glaze chicken.
- Serve chicken on a bed of cooked white rice. Garnish with noodles and slivered almonds crunchy.
