Endive Baked with Tomato and Cheese Sauce RecipesThe Endive is a vegetable variety of chicory, with large amounts of water, a large amount of fiber and low in fat, carbohydrates and proteins. Ingredients:

  • 4 large chicory
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 200 ml. liquid cream

  • 1 egg
  • 40 Gr. of ground almonds
  • Salt

Method:

  1. We begin by preparing the chicory. Cut in half and remove the hard part of the central trunk, to avoid the bitter taste. Cook in a pan with boiling water and salt to heat and cover for approximately 12 – 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, blanch the tomatoes in boiling water. Once blanched, we chill them, Peel and cut into slices.
