Ifumi Recipe

Ifumi is one of the main foods in China on Lunar New Year celebrations. This food recipe consists of fried noodles mixed with several kinds of proteins, such as fish, meat, squid, and shrimp. Lunar New Year celebration would not be complete without ifumi. How to cook it is quite easy. Here’s the recipe and how to cook it.

Ingredients :

  • 3 pieces fried noodles (noodles ready for ifumi)
  • Cooking oil for sauteing

Sauce ingredients:

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed in
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 150 grams of squid, cut into 1 cm
  • 100 grams of peeled shrimp, tail be left
  • 100 grams of beef sukiyaki, cut in 3 parts
  • 200 grams of carrots, cut into 1 cm
  • 50 grams Peas
  • 100 grams of carrisin, cut into 3 cm
  • 1 stalk spring onion, cut into 1 cm
  • 6 pieces of fish meatballs, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce flavoring
  • 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 500 ml broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour dissolved in 100 ml water

Method :

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Saute garlic and onion until wilted.
  2. Add the squid, beef sukiyaki, and shrimp. Stir until the color changes. Enter the carrots and stir until half cooked.
  3. Add the peas, carissin, spring onion, and fish ball. Stir well.
  4. Season to taste salt, pepper, soy sauce flavoring, and oyster sauce. Stir and then pour the broth. Cook until the broth boils and then pours the solution of starch. Stir until boiling again.

Note: If no, use instant noodles, boiled and then fried together in the unified state.
