Lenggang Recipe
Lenggang is an original Indonesian cuisine from the South Sumatra province. Lenggang is a food made from starch and containing fish. How to eat them is to dip Lenggang into the sauce. The recipe is a bit complex and time consuming to cook too long. If you walk along the South Sumatra, do not forget to taste the Lenggang. Here’s a recipe and how to cook it.
Ingredients:
- A fish bowl that has been destroyed
- 1 cup flour
- Salt water
- 2 eggs, beaten off
- Oil for frying
Sauce ingredients:
- 5 red chilies
- 10 cayenne
- 3-5 cloves garlic
- Salt
- Vinegar
- Palm sugar
- Boiled water to taste
Method:
- Fish after washed, then pick the meat apart with scraped with a spoon.
- Combine the flour, stir and then pour the salt water while in stir until blended and a dough that can be in shape.
- Try a little taste of salt should be felt if not add salt to taste.
- Roll with banana leaves and steamed until cooked. Open the leaves and let cool.
- After the dough is formed, then boiled, sliced thinly.
- Enter in the beaten eggs, add salt, pepper and a thin omelette.
How to make sauce:
- Combine all ingredients in and blend until smooth, pour 1 cup of boiled water or more. Give the vinegar to taste. Pain should be salty, sour, sweet and spicy. When cold liquid brownish color, give 1-2 tablespoons of soy sauce, spread them evenly
